This 14 week course, which runs in CCN Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, covers the fundamentals of 2D & 3D game creation, including 3D Modelling & Animation, 2D game art creation (Photoshop), game logic programming, and rudimentary sound design. By the end of the course, the learner will have developed a 2D & a 3D game prototype, and will have acquired a new skill set for game development & design. If you already know the basics of game design and programming, you might consider taking the advanced course.

Everyone who would like to learn the fundamentals art, programming and design skills for computer game creation.
What Will I Learn?
Everything you need to know to develop your first 2D & 3D computer games. You will also be capable of publishing that game to Flash, Desktop, IOS & Android respectively.
How Long Does it Run For?
It is a 14 week evening programme, which runs twice a year, in January and September, 7:00PM - 10:00PM, one night per week ( Monday Evenings ).

The Course is run at CCN Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. It is taught by Richard Sneyd, founder of CyberMyth Games.
How Is it Certified?
Upon successful completion of the course, you (the learner) will receive a FETAC Level 5 Minor Award in Games Analysis & Design.
Graduates of this course can progress onto the advanced game development and design course, which runs on Tuesday evenings.
