This 14 week advanced game development evening class, which runs in CCN Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, builds on your foundation of knowledge and skills in game development and design, and then takes them to a whole knew level. By the end of this course, you will be much more familiar with key industry standard software packages, will have learned more advanced game programming techniques, and overall, will be a much more confident and capable computer game developer. If you have no prior experience, you are advised to take the intro to game design course first.
Who's This For?
Those who already have some rudimentary knowledge of game development & design, or who have completed an introductory course and want to take their skills to the next level, would benefit greatly from taking this evening class.
What Will I Learn?
Advanced art, design and computer programming techniques relevant to the modern game development process, skills & concepts which will greatly enhance your abilities as a computer game developer. For that reason, if you have absolutely no previous experience with game development or computer programming, we recommend you take the intro to game design course first, which runs on Monday evenings, also in CCN Dungarvan.

It is a 14 week evening programming, which runs 7:00PM - 10:00PM, on Tuesday nights.

How Is it Certified?
Upon successful completion of the course, you (the learner) will receive a FETAC Level 6 Minor Award in Editing Practice & Techniques.
